I wanted to share some of the most impactful truths that both of my parents have shared with me throughout my life. Let me start with my dad. Go to my dad’s office and you will see his walls covered in quotes. Not just any quotes but quotes he tells me he writes and then tapes them to his wall. He tells all of us that he relates real-life experiences with mistakes he has made and learns from each of those experiences so that he can attain wisdom while not making the same mistakes over again. He also tells us to find someone 10, 20, and 30 years older, someone with wisdom, who shows evidence in their own lives that good decisions were made so we can learn from others. The above quote has been a quote that has made an impact on the actions I take and must follow through upon because actions will show others that I can be trusted and shows that I am the person I say I am.
I absolutely love my school, my friends, my teachers, and working in our community.
Working is something that has always been a part of who I am and my drive to succeed.
I am currently starting on my high school varsity basketball and varsity tennis team.
I currently volunteer at several organizations to give back to my community.
