Madison’s Artwork Love:
To some people, art can be a chore and hard to pursue. I have developed a love for creating pottery as well as drawing. I don’t always get enough time to do some of these passions but when I do I love what I create. One of my most recent drawings was a competition for our school's 2024 “Spring Fling” Shirt contest. This is a new shirt design that was selected for my school “Spring Fling 2024”
Some of my favorite things to draw and paint are landscapes, abstract, and portraits. I have taken many art classes throughout high school and still love to do it in my spare time. Besides drawing and painting, I love to sculpt pottery using the wheel and making pieces around my house and as gifts for others. When using the wheel, you can handcraft and shape different designs to make something specific. One of my favorite projects that I did was making a vase as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day. I painted it the color of her favorite room. This matched the style of the room by adding her favorite shapes in the vase which added a different perspective to the room.
